Everything seems perfect except the vertical shutter release doesn’t preform exactly like the one on the body. Seems to take more pressure to operate the release. I bought my 50D new and haven’t been able to justify upgrading, because of the quantity of work I do. I bought this battery grip used on eBay but the thing doesn’t look like it’s been used! However, if you have some decent AA re-chargeable cells lying about, try the AA battery tray. My gripped 7D2 lasts much longer with AA Nimh cells than the Lithium packs, it shouldn't - but it does!
